Louise Fraser

Featured on the CW, NBC, Lifetime, MTV, and in movies (Jack Black's 'Goosebumps', Jada Pinkett Smith's 'Hala', etc.), Louise has worked with various collaborators including producers John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, etc), Don Smith (Rolling Stones, U2, Tom Petty, Ry Cooder, etc), film composer Jeff Rona (Phantom, Traffic, Black Hawk Down, Thin Red Line, etc), and members of the Counting Crows and Tom Petty's Heartbreakers.

Louise has released two solo acoustic CDs to date; 'Ghosttown', and 'Thaw'.  On Thaw, Billboard magazine wrote "An impressive feat... exceptional quality and songwriting craftsmanship."

Louise has also released two critically acclaimed EPs under the Muricidae Project with John Fryer (NiN, Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, etc): 'Tales from a Silent Ocean' and 'Tears are Stronger Than Waves.' SIDELINE reviewed Muricidae as 'rich vocals very smoothly mixed..a recommended release, we surely hope to hear more', CWN wrote 'a sweet new release wrapped in a glitterball, sharper than a Tom Ford suit... ', and POST-PUNK noted it would 'leave you content in glorious ruin'.

Louise's latest projects include the 'Band of Celts', which harks back to her Scottish roots. Featuring songs in Gaelic and English, arrangements range from stripped down solo strings with splashes of dark electronic, to fully orchestrated with war drums. And Band of Tinkers, a fluid collective forged to produce massive trailer and end title songs. Collaborators include string virtuoso and orchestrator Martin Tichy (Three Musketeers, Vienna Symphonic), percussionist and producer Josef Peters (Grant Lee Buffalo, Cracker), and gold record producer/ multi instrumentalist Bernhard Penzias.
